How many fail to see the terrible human tragedy in this unnecessary, unjustified war?

The center of the major religions of the world. Say what you will about justice. This is not justice. Palestinians are poverty stricken, ravished people, living in slum conditions, barely enough sustenance to survival their dreadful existence. What is their crime? They have the wrong religion, Worship the wrong God. Is Israel doing anything to elevate the situation and bring them relief? No Israel only throw stumbling blocks. So you find them disgruntled sympathizing with Hamas who fires off a few rockets which kill three or fore Israelites in the past year. Does Israel do anything toward a peaceful solution, or doers the rest of the world for that matter? No Israel begins their slaughter of 800 Palestinians in one week. Many of them innocent women and children only trying to survive who believe in a different God. And you war mongering Americans call this Justice. The truth is told, like it or hide behind you bible and praise Israel.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Israeli forces pounded rocket-launching sites and smuggling tunnels in Gaza Saturday and planes dropped leaflets warning of an escalation in attacks, as Palestinian militants fired at least 10 more rockets at Israel.
Egypt hosted talks aimed at ending the violence.
Flames and smoke rose over Gaza City amid the heavy fighting. The Israeli threat to launch a “new phase” in its two-week-old offensive that has already killed more than 800 Palestinians came in defiance of international calls for a cease-fire.

Truth is the truth. You don’t like criticism of your beliefs tough. Now ostracize me.

    It’s a sad situation.

Anytime children are being killed, something very bad is happening.

  2. J says:

I don’t know what you’re talking about, I definitely do not call that justice.

  3. CrockADuck's revenge says:

    I agree, religion poisons everything

I found this quote interesting: “They have the wrong religion”
    Who is they? Which they?

Take a longer look at what you are dealing with here:
You want to see some crazy religious psychobabble

Take a peak at the hamas charter:

    http://europenews.dk/en/node/9625

    Article Eight
Allah is its goal, the Prophet its model, the Quzan its Constitution, Jihad its path and death for the case of Allah its most sublime belief

“Time will not begin until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, not before the Jews do not hide themselves behind rocks and trees, who then proclaim: Oh Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me; come and kill him!”

    “Article Eleven
The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine has been an Islamic Waqf throughout the generations and until the Day of Resurrection”‘

“This is the status [of the land] in Islamic Shari’a, and it is similar to all lands conquered by Islam by force, and made thereby Waqf lands upon their conquest, for all generations of Muslims until the Day of Resurrection.”

    “Article Thirteen
[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement.”

“There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad.”

    Article 15:
“We must imprint on the minds of generations of Muslims that the Palestinian problem is a religious one, to be dealt with on this premise.”

Honestly….How do you deal with THAT?

  4. 6ofUs says:

The reality is, war, in any form, is never a means to an end of conflict. I do not consider it justice … I do not think it’s ok … and in war, it is usually the civilians that die in the greatest numbers. War in the name of religion will continue until religion no longer exists. I don’t agree with it in the least. That’s a big reason why I am of no religious persuasion.

There are alot of countries where you can’t make posts like this. Not to mention you protest war with words of war. name calling etc…. What makes you any better than a “war mongering american” ?? Both sides of that war are wrong btw not just israel

  7. rabid_scientist says:

If Mexico started lobbing missles into the US, do you think we’d put up with it? Mexico doesn’t have a great standard of living either, but if it attacks, do you think we’d do nothing? Even if it wasn’t the government, but a group who has strong support in the country?

Before you criticize, walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away, and you have their shoes.

That said, the violence is a sad thing. And it’s sad that after thousands of years, human beings can think of no better way to solve their problems.

  8. Exodus 20:1-17 says:

Hamas has a lot of money at its disposal. They use that money to purchase weapons to throw at Israel. Why don’t they use their money for a better cause, like helping their own people. Instead, they are bent on sending missiles into Israel to ultimately destroy them. Most, if not all of the Muslim nations want to see Israel destroyed. How come none of the Muslim nations condemned the attacks ON Israel?

    GOD bless

  9. Michael of G says:

The media coverage of this event is like a whore, it sucks. People killed are supporting and protecting the military sector. Maybe they should give back the land they stole from the Jews. Look at it this way they are for filling the only guarantee in life, that is death. What goes around comes around, they women are just breeding machines for more terrorists.

  10. Madhukar Daftary says:

All forms of violence is bad. It is unfortunate that present day Heads of Governments indulge in violence in which they are always safe. It is the innocent civilians including women children and patients in hospital who get killed. If one studies history of the medieval period, one would find that kings and monarchs used to go to the battlefield themselves leading their armies to defend their countries and lay down their lives. War used to be between the warriors and not involving innocent citizens. It used to take place in a battle-fields and there used to be some moral principles followed that no fight at night and no torture of the captured soldiers. When Alexander invaded India, he met with a defeat initially. But when he finally was victorious and caught the Indian King and asked him how he should be treated, the king replied “as a king will treat a king” and he was released with full honour. I wonder what is the difference between the present day rulers and the pirates. They are both alike.

  11. Cirbryn says:

What would you have Israel do? Let them keep firing rockets into their cities? Why are the Gazans sheltering those who do? Why does their government’s charter call for the destruction of Israel? What did the U.S. do to Afghanistan when the Afghans sheltered those who made a single attack against us? Why did Israel give up control of Gaza 15 years ago in exchange for promises of peace?

  12. John R says:

Without being prejudicial, I want to assume you are from an asian descent and – most likely – uninformed of the historic and geopolitical (without discarding the religious ones) specifics that have brought the region to this particular mess. If I may put all in one word is HATRED.
The Israelis were originally removed forcefully from their land in the year 70 AD. Since then, every descendant of these particular group has been subjected to persecution and assassination in mass scale, not only from the christian catholic region of population/governments, but also from the protestant. They even were expelled from a country, losing all their valuables and belong ins from Spain in the 1400′s.
Their return to the original place of existence was miraculously done in 1948, weather you believe in them or not, it happened in one day. The newly established and RECOGNIZED state offered a hand of peace to the arab nations around them. Their response was to launch another genocide, similar to the one the world witnessed in 1945. This time it was led by Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. The original intent was tr he annihilation of these people. They could not do it. Now, after so many years, Iran’s president has said (this is vox populi) “the solution for the middle east is the destruction of the state of Israel”). The hamas people have launched more than 300 rockets to Israel. What the heck you expect them to do? Kiss them back?
